iPhone SE 2016
The iPhone SE (2016) is a compact smartphone released by Apple in March 2016. It was designed to combine the smaller form factor of the iPhone 5S with the internal hardware of the iPhone 6S, offering a more affordable option for customers who preferred a smaller-sized iPhone.
Here are some key features and specifications of the iPhone SE (2016):
Design: The iPhone SE (2016) shares a similar design to the iPhone 5S, featuring a 4-inch Retina display with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels. It has a metal and glass construction with chamfered edges and a Touch ID fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button.
Processor: It is powered by the Apple A9 chip, which is a dual-core 64-bit processor coupled with a PowerVR GT7600 GPU. This processor provides improved performance compared to previous iPhone models.
Camera: The iPhone SE (2016) has a 12-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, and support for Live Photos. It can record 4K videos and capture slow-motion videos at 240 frames per second. On the front, it has a 1.2-megapixel FaceTime HD camera.
Storage: It was initially available in two storage options: 16GB and 64GB. However, Apple discontinued the 16GB variant later and replaced it with a 32GB variant.
Battery: The iPhone SE (2016) has a smaller battery compared to other iPhone models, but it still provides decent battery life. It supports fast charging and wireless charging (with a compatible charging pad).
Software: It was initially released with iOS 9.3 and has since received several major software updates. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, it is compatible with the latest iOS version available at that time.
